Our 5 Bar Estate Gates, sometimes referred to as Turned Heel or Devon Heel Gates offers a stylish, yet robust gate solution. The ‘Hockey Stick’ effect makes an instant impression and will stand out in any area. The diagonal bar adds reinforcement, ensuring that the gate can withstand strong winds. It is suitable for a range of applications including driveways, fields and gardens.

Whether you require a smaller 5 bar estate gate, ideal for pathways, or a wide gate for a driveway, our range is available in a range of sizes, ensuring that you can find the perfect fit for your outdoor project. All of our standard estate gates are 4′ (1.22m) high (1.613m to Top of Heel). This gate is available in either a softwood or hardwood finish.

5 bar hardwood estate gate

Our 5 bar Hardwood Estate Gates are made from specially selected high-quality West African Iroko. Iroko is a cost-effective alternative to Teak that offers a warm and natural timber finish. The gate timber has been pressure treated to enhance the longevity and protect the gate from weathering and rot.

5 bar softwood estate gate

Scandinavian Redwood timber is used to construct our 5 bar softwood gates. The timber is pressure treated to enhance its durability against weathering and insect damage and is planned for a smooth finish.

If you need a specific gate size, we are able to create this style of gate bespoke to your requirements. Should you require a solid bottom bar, we are also able to produce this on request.
