Our Thermowood ShadowGap cladding, sometimes referred to as ‘channel’, is produced from carefully sourced, high-quality Redwood from leading Finnish sawmills. Its heat treatment means that the timber is not only particularly durable and hardwearing, it also has a striking natural brown colour.

It is a popular choice amongst those looking to achieve a contemporary exterior, either on new builds or on older buildings being given a more modern look.

Thermowood is less likely to warp, twist or cup due to the inability to absorb or lose moisture caused by the thermal modification process. The low moisture content also achieves a superior, smooth finish when machined.
