Reclaimed Tropical Hardwood Sleepers are a popular choice for a range of outdoor projects. Naturally worn from the sunshine, rain, windy and snow, they have a beautiful rustic look with many natural imperfections in colour and size that really make them stand out. They are a great way of adding a touch of character to any outside and can be used for a variety of applications including raised beds for flowers and path and driveway borders.

These sleepers are untreated and are naturally very strong and durable. It’s worth noting that reclaimed sleepers are particularly dense and can be very heavy in weight. As this collection is inclusive of both Grade A and Grade B reclaimed timber, you should expect variance in the amounts of damage or rot on the underside in addition to some splits. Colour will vary to include an array of natural tones.

Reclaimed Sleeper Grading Guidelines

Grade A – Used sleeper in good to average condition, can have slight damage to one side and sometimes a small amount of rot on the underside. Will usually have at least two good edges so can also be stacked and used to build retaining walls, raised beds etc.

Grade B – All of the characteristics of Grade A but will usually have more serious damage to most sides. A larger amount of rot to the underside is allowable.
